The purpose of Invasive Alerts is so that people can watch for additional incursions and take rapid and efficient control measures. Each alert contains information on the occurrence, when it was first observed and the potential threats from the invader. A regional map to show where these incursions are and photographs to facilitate identification are included. Incursions may be new to New England, a state or a habitat.
